Hey everyone, Mel here from MJWED!
A few weeks ago, we were approached by Sony Pictures Australia and iKapture Promotions & Marketing, who were looking for “something special” for their upcoming premiere screening of Napoleon at the Angelika Film Centre, Woolloongabba, and after seeing our work, their response was “It’s a sign!”. Needless to say, I’m proud of this and I’m so excited to share it with you!
With a super tight turnaround time (literally a few days from the premiere), we got to work straight away on creating a concept for the teams at iKapture and Sony, gathering inspiration from the movie itself and the life of Napoleon!
We then looked to our A Team of suppliers and what they could offer at such short notice, and after a quick site visit to ensure no hiccups, it was lights, cameras, and action baby!
On arrival, guests were graciously ushered to the red carpet, display by Rob from Showtime Entertainment, for some professional snaps with Jared from Vethaak Media. They were then served with nibbles and bubbles before the show!

Of course, this giant throne was a big hit for the guests that night!
Following their extravagant red carpet experience, all the guests were greeted with an interactive display for a photo op, and we were over the moon to see them utilising a giant throne and cannon provided by none other than the sensations at The Prop House, and adjacent, the superstars at Big Light Letters lit the venue red with a giant NAPOLEON display!

And, what do you know? After all the excitement of the evening, Mr and Mrs MJWED were invited to stay and watch the premiere in the style and comfort that only Angelika Film Centre can provide!
